We have a small wildlife sanctuary and a vast range of other animals, Maylis and Nick were amazing, they picked up all the routines immediately and were incredibly intuitive with the animals, our animals reaction to them was incredible they have never been as happy with strangers as they are with this couple. The house was left cleaner than I left it, I will certainly be using them again, this is the first time I have been COMPLETELY relaxed and happy when away, I had no anxious moments which for me is a miracle because with so many different species and many of our residents are handicapped, or can be a bit difficult.

We returned home and our dogs although pleased to see us frankly I think would rather have had more time with Maylis and Nick, we have after years finally found our perfect house sitters and kindred spirits.

We had never contacted a house sitter before so we were very nervous contracting a sitter. BUT, we truly fell on our feet having Maylis pet/house sit for us for 5 weeks. When Maylis and her husband Nick arrived on the island we found they were both very pleasant and had a confident and friendly attitude to our 6 cats, so we were confident from the start that our cats, poultry and home would be in safe hands.
Once we left the island, we had regular contact from them with photos and messages. While we were away, two of our cats fell ill and Maylis took them to our vet. Treatment for the cats was daily with eye ointments and tablets. Her care of all of our cats was excellent. In fact, under the instructions from our vet, 2 of our other cats also started treatment. I stress that the illness was bought in my a new kitten that we are purchased a month before the sit commenced. We arrived home to find happy cats and poultry, as well as a clean and tidy house. We did give them our 4 wheel drive vehicle to use whilst on the island so they could have a chance to see our beautiful scenery and wildlife. The car was returned to us in the same condition it was given to them.
All in all, it allowed us to have a happy and stress free holiday.

Maylis & her husband Nick are wonderful people who are welcome back in my home anytime. I have two young Labradors and a skittish cat who doesn't even like me some days and they all adored their time with Maylis & Nick. I said all I wanted was for someone to love and look after my pets while I was away and not to worry about doing anything around the house but everything was so much tidier than when I left it!

Nick and Maylis were absolutely tremendous house-sitters for our house and our husky Maila. Maila is a fairly independent dog, and she took to Nick and Maylis instantly! I've never seen her so in love with a new person so quickly: truly a testament to their skill with animals.
They were incredibly attentive sending us frequent pictures and updates of the fun they were having and making sure every detail was taken care of well. When we returned, the house was cleaner than when we left and everything was perfectly in order. Our husky was incredibly sad to see them leave.
I cannot recommend them more highly and am happy to chat with anyone interested in them as house-sitters.

We had Maylis & Nick look after our lifestyle block for 9 days while we were out of the country and unable to be contacted, on our return all our farm animals and domestic pets were all very happy and healthy. A couple of things had gone wrong for them which was out of their controlled but they dealt with it with no problem. Our dogs are babies so always worry when we leave them but they were very settled.

She has such a good hand for animals and we are sure they could feel how much she did like them. All of them showed their happiness when she came in. Maylis also handled sensitive situations very good.
We have to say she did her very best in the house too. She cleaned it if it was a need and left everything in best order. When she did not live any longer in Switzerland, we flew her in just because she was always so wonderful to our Pets.

Maylis has provided house and pet sitting for us on several occasions. I am usually nervous the whole time I am away, worrying about my pets being taken care of, however I never worry if Maylis is in charge. I always return to happy contented animals, and a clean tidy house. We have a mix of animals with various needs, including 2 cockatoos, 2 cats, a dog, rabbits, fish and a flock of chickens. One of our cats has some health concerns that require monitoring and can be worsened with stress. Maylis always ensures that he is kept safe and happy and I know if anything were to happen she would handle it and take care of him capably as if he was her own. My bonded cockatoo does not usually warm up to people other then me, but he loves Maylis and happily greats her and blows her kisses whenever she comes to sit for him. I really cant speak highly enough of Maylis, and I use her services over any other pet sitter when she is available. If you have exotic pets, or pets with high needs Maylis is the pet sitter for you. If there is anything your pet requires she will willing do it for them. I don't think there is anything she couldn't handle, and the love and warmth she feels for animals is obvious. When returning I think my animals feel as if they have had a pampering holiday. Our house is always left in a tidy and clean way, with the animal cages being spotless.
